Santa Monica Symphony’s October concert both celebrates American history and honors the achievements of some of our country’s finest composers (Leonard Bernstein and Aaron Copland), while also celebrating the diversity of our community by highlighting the work of Mexico-born and CalArts-educated composer Arturo Márquez. We will be opening our 2025-26 season with this, a high-energy program sharing a collection of American dances, and will be presenting this entirely free of charge.
